Terms of Sale

These Terms of Sale apply to every order you place through the OopStay online shop. “OopStay” is a trading name of OopStay Art Café Ltd, 1st Floor, 59–61 Faulkner Street, Chinatown, Manchester, M1 4FF. They add to our Terms & Conditions; placing an order means you accept them.
1. Placing an order
When you check out you make an offer to buy the items in your basket. A contract is formed only when we email to confirm dispatch. We may decline or cancel an order — for example if an item is out of stock, we can’t deliver to your area, or there’s an obvious pricing error — and will refund anything you’ve paid.
2. Prices & payment
- Prices are shown in pounds sterling (GBP) and include VAT where it applies.
- Payment is taken securely at checkout by our payment provider, Stripe. We don’t see or store your full card details.
- Some kits offer an optional cream gel + charms add-on for an extra £5 (for example the Sanrio cat mirror set). The add-on is only charged when you choose to add it; without it you receive the plain item at its listed price.
3. Delivery
We deliver within the UK only. Delivery is a flat £3.95, and free on orders of £40 or more. Estimated delivery is 3–5 working days from dispatch; times are estimates, not guarantees. Risk passes to you when the parcel is delivered to your address.
4. Your kit
Shop items are DIY craft kits. They contain small parts and craft materials — keep them away from young children and follow the guidance included. As pieces are hand-finished by you, results vary, and colours may differ slightly from screen images.
5. Cancellations, returns & refunds
You have a 14-day right to change your mind on most items. Full detail, including what can and can’t be returned, is in our Return Policy and Refund Policy.
6. Faulty goods & your rights
Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 goods must be as described, fit for purpose and of satisfactory quality. If an item is faulty, tell us within 48 hours of delivery and we’ll repair, replace or refund it. Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights.
7. Liability
We provide our products with reasonable care and skill. Nothing here limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that can’t be excluded by law. Otherwise we’re not liable for losses that weren’t reasonably foreseeable.
8. Governing law
These Terms of Sale are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any disputes are subject to the courts of England and Wales.
