Accessibility

Last updated 25 June 2026

OopStay Art Café Ltd wants everyone to be able to use our website and visit our café. We're working to make both as welcoming and easy to use as possible, and we treat accessibility as an ongoing commitment rather than a one-off task.

Our aim on this website

We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA. In practice we try to make sure the site:

  • Uses clear, high-contrast text that can be resized in your browser without breaking the layout.
  • Can be navigated with a keyboard, with visible focus on links and buttons.
  • Provides meaningful text alternatives for images and icons.
  • Reflows to fit phones, tablets and desktops.
  • Uses plain, friendly language wherever we can.

Visiting the café

Our café is on the 1st floor at 59–61 Faulkner Street, and access is currently up a flight of stairs — please be aware there is no lift at present. We're really sorry this means the café isn't step-free, and we don't want it to stop you visiting. If stairs are a barrier for you, or you have any other access needs — seating, support during a paint session, or bringing your order down to you — please get in touch before you come and we'll do everything we can to help, including arranging an alternative where we're able to.

Known limitations

Some content may not yet be fully accessible — for example, certain animations, third-party embeds (such as maps) or older images. We're continuing to identify and fix these. If decorative motion is distracting, your device's "reduce motion" setting will calm animations across the site.

Tell us what's not working

If you come across anything that's hard to use, or you need information in a different format, please tell us — your feedback genuinely helps. Email oopstay25@gmail.com or use the enquiry form and we'll respond as soon as we can.
