These terms apply to your use of the OopStay website and to any orders you place with us. "OopStay" is a trading name of OopStay Art Café Ltd, based at 1st Floor, 59–61 Faulkner Street, Chinatown, Manchester, M1 4FF. By using this site or placing an order you agree to these terms.
1. Using our website
You may use this site for personal, lawful purposes only. You must not misuse it, attempt to gain unauthorised access, or copy our content (images, logos, menus and designs) without our written permission. We may update or remove content at any time.
2. In-café painting
Paint-your-own sessions are walk-in and paid for at the counter — no online booking is required. Prices on the Art Menu include paints, brushes and materials. Pieces are hand-finished by you, so results vary; we can't guarantee a particular outcome. Please take care with paints, glazes and equipment, and supervise children at all times.
3. Shop orders & DIY kits
Our online shop sells DIY kits for UK delivery only. Placing an order is an offer to buy; a contract is formed when we confirm dispatch. We may decline or cancel an order (for example, if an item is unavailable or there's a pricing error) and will refund any payment taken.
- Prices are in GBP and include VAT where applicable.
- UK delivery is £3.95, free on orders over £40. Estimated delivery is 3–5 working days.
- Kits contain craft materials and small parts — keep away from young children and follow the included guidance.
4. Returns & cancellations
Under UK consumer law you may cancel an unused, unopened kit within 14 days of delivery for a refund; return postage is your responsibility unless the item is faulty. We can't refund opened or part-used kits for hygiene and safety reasons unless faulty. If anything arrives damaged, email us within 48 hours and we'll put it right.
5. Enquiries, marketing & your data
When you send an enquiry through this site you give us your name, email and message so we can reply. By ticking the consent box you also agree that we may use your details to contact you, send you marketing (such as offers, events and new kits) where you've opted in, and to carry out analytics that help us understand and improve our site and service. You can withdraw consent or unsubscribe at any time. Full detail is in our Privacy Policy.
6. Liability
We provide the site and our products with reasonable care and skill, but nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or anything else that can't be excluded by law. To the extent permitted by law, we're not liable for indirect or unforeseeable losses.
7. Changes & governing law
We may update these terms from time to time; the version on this page applies to your use. These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and disputes are subject to the courts of England and Wales.
